Desi had two hits in the game going two for three, scoring a run and driving in another. Chelsea "Chee-chee" Kehr also had two hits and an RBI. Emily "Money" Million scored twice and Brittany "Tee-Nee" Logan and Jackie "Jackie-Gee" Giambrone each had an RBI as the "Babes" won it 4-1

06/02/08 Finally! "Bat Babes" win oft postponed rematch 7-5
After three postponements due to bad weather of playoff schedules, the "Beautiful Battlin' Bat Babes" finally got around to continuing their quest for a share of the BCSL Freedom Division title. The game was originally scheduled to be played on May 4th but rain washed it out. Then the rescheduled game was postponed when the Lady Flashes won the second round of the Central Jersey Group One playoffs to accomadate the C J-1 title game against Dunellen. Bad weather forced another postponement which brought us to Monday's game, made mandatory when the "Bat Babes" defeated New Egypt in another game that had been postponed due to weather. If the Lady Flashes defeat Burlington City on Wednesday (06-04) they will share the Freedom Division title with New Egypt.
As for today's game; with starting picther Kelly "Oh-Kay" Garganio scheduled to pitch in the state group one semifinals on tuesday feeling a little under the weather, Coach Chwastyk decided to pitch the seldom used Emily "Money" Millions (3-0) in the circle. With just two games (against lowly TCA) under her belt, none of which she pitched more than four innings, "Money" was still up for the challenge and pitched well enough to secure the win. Helping to make Emily's job easier was the offense as three "Babes" hit for extra bases: Chelsea "Chee-Chee" Kehr, Katie "Smooth" Schreck and Carlie "Sugar" Maple each had a double in the game.
