Hilliary Allen recieves plaque for her assistance in Florence Township Little Leauge Softball

"Bat Babes" look much better in 1-0 loss to Bordentown
After recieving a plaque for her work with the Florence Township's Softball Little Leauge, BCSL's top pitcher Hillary Allen helped the Scotties to win number 12 with 15 strikeouts in a pitching duel with the "Flashes Gals" Kelly "Oh-Kay" Garganio.

The Lady Scotties scored the games only run in the first inning when a misplayed fly ball to right field put a runner on third base with no outs. After that it was a game of great pitching by both pitchers as well as some great fielding by the "Bat Babes" who turned two double plays and had a fantastic shoestring catch on the run by centerfielder Emily "Money" Millions

All in all it was a good game for the Lady Flashes despite the loss, who had just dropped a 6-5 desision to Burlington Township two days prior on some costly fielding errors. Still they bounced back and looked like they can still challenge for both the Freedom Division and CJ Group-1 titles again this year. If they continue to play defensively on this level and get back into their hitting form of last week they are sure to make the playoffs and present a formidable opponent to New Egypt for the division crown
